The guide is booked most of all by companies with international visitors. A delegation from Asia has a free afternoon, a group of clients from the United States stays over the weekend. In both cases it would be a shame to send them off to the hotel with nothing but a street map, and nobody on your own team has the time to play tour guide for a whole afternoon.
The second case is private travellers who want more than the standard loop. Anyone interested in the Wittelsbachs, in the years between 1919 and 1923 or in the architecture of the post-war decades gets a guide who has something to say about it. Tell us the subject when you enquire and we will select a guide accordingly.
The language is very often the deciding factor of all. A guest guided in Arabic or in Russian rather than in English takes considerably more away with them. We have guides for the common languages and organise rarer ones with some lead time. Simply ask, even if the language sounds unusual to you.
For an enquiry we need the date, the duration, the language, the number of guests and the subject, if indeed there is one. Guide and vehicle we invoice together and you receive one fixed price for the whole day. The guide can, incidentally, also be booked without a vehicle if you are only walking.
