General Terms & Conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all contracts for chauffeur, transfer and chauffeured rental services provided by HeyDriver GmbH.

1. Scope

These terms apply to all services of HeyDriver GmbH, Carl-Zeiss-Ring 15a, 85737 Ismaning ("HeyDriver"). Deviating conditions of the customer are not recognised unless HeyDriver expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of services on the website does not constitute a binding offer. By submitting a booking or transfer request, the customer makes an offer. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by HeyDriver (by email, phone or WhatsApp).

3. Prices and payment

The prices agreed at the time of booking apply. Fixed prices for airport transfers and other journeys are communicated in advance. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due after the service has been rendered. All prices include statutory VAT.

4. Cancellation and changes

The customer may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time. In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of the agreed pick-up time, the full agreed fare (100%) becomes due. The relevant point in time for calculating this period is when the cancellation is received by HeyDriver, by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Changes to a booking (e.g. rescheduling the date, time or destination) are accommodated free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time, subject to vehicle availability. Changes made later are subject to the same rules as a cancellation. If the customer fails to appear at the agreed pick-up time (no-show), the full fare also becomes due.

5. Customer obligations

The customer ensures that the information required to carry out the journey (pick-up and drop-off address, date, time, number of passengers and luggage, flight number for airport transfers) is complete and correct.

6. Performance

HeyDriver provides transfer services with the care of a prudent businessperson. For airport transfers, HeyDriver monitors flight times where possible to account for delays. Force majeure and exceptional traffic conditions may lead to deviations in timing.

7. Liability

HeyDriver is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Statutory provisions remain unaffected.

8. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
