ISPO falls in the coldest part of the year, and that is the practical heart of this page. Late January in Munich means slush, darkness from half past four and taxis nobody can get hold of. Anyone heading out to Riem at eight in the morning with sample cases notices it immediately.
A dedicated chauffeur takes that part of it off your hands. The car is outside the hotel, already warmed through, and your samples lie dry in the boot rather than on a platform. In the evening he collects you whenever you happen to be finished, even when that runs later than planned.

For exhibitors we usually book the chauffeur on call across all the fair days. The car stays with you, the same driver takes you out in the morning and back in the evening and is there in between whenever an appointment in the city comes up. Sample collections, boards and stand material travel along, and for those we deploy the V-Class or the Sprinter with its separate luggage bay.
For international guests the airport transfer is added. ISPO draws buyers from all over the world, and many of them land late in the evening. We track the flight, collect with a name sign and drive straight to the hotel or out to the grounds. With delegations the entire group travels in one vehicle rather than in four taxis with four arrival times.

ISPO is an order fair, and that shapes the whole rhythm. You do not have three appointments a day, you have closer to twelve, and between two conversations there are twenty minutes. Anyone waiting for a taxi in that rhythm loses an appointment. The chauffeur on call is therefore less a question of comfort at this fair than one of scheduling.
The second point is the material. Anyone showing collections certainly does not travel with hand luggage. Skis, boards, sample cases and stand parts do not fit into a taxi and certainly not onto the U6. In the Sprinter with its separate luggage bay everything arrives in one journey, out in the morning and back at night, without anybody carrying a thing.
The third point is the weather. Late January in Munich is unpredictable: snow, rain, ice, different every year. Our vehicles run on winter tyres, and the chauffeurs drive the route to the grounds every single day of the fair. In snowfall that simply means setting off earlier, not arriving later than planned.
For an enquiry we need the period, the hotel, the passenger count and whether material is coming with you. You then receive a fixed price for the entire fair days. Do book early: in January Munich is booked out because of ISPO, and the vehicles are allocated weeks in advance.
