Munich to Vienna Airport Transfer

Four hours on the A1

Munich to Vienna, vignette included

Roughly 440 kilometres, about four hours via the A8 and the Austrian A1 through Linz and St. Pölten. Vienna-Schwechat Airport lies south-east of the city and we reach it via the A4 without having to cross the centre at all. Addresses in the inner districts and out in the suburbs we serve just as readily.

The Austrian vignette and every toll section are included in the fixed price. The border at Walserberg rarely costs you more than a couple of minutes, and an identity card is quite enough. You need prepare nothing for it and bring nothing along with you.

VIE and the city centre

Chauffeur from Munich to Vienna

The A1 between Salzburg and Vienna is one of the calmest motorways in the entire Alpine region: well built, with surprisingly few roadworks and hardly any real bottlenecks apart from the Linz interchange at rush hour. Four hours on this route are therefore four hours of genuine working time in the rear, with a power socket, a table and no seat neighbours who might read along.

We serve Vienna-Schwechat as readily as any address in the city itself, from the first district out to the Donaustadt. For departures from VIE we need your flight number and then plan the arrival with a comfortable buffer. For day appointments your chauffeur stays on in Vienna and drives you back in the evening, however late it becomes.

Our Fleet

From the elegant sedan to the spacious coach — choose the right vehicle for any occasion. Every vehicle is premium-equipped and impeccably maintained.

As a management consultant I fly a great deal, so I ride with them almost every week — and I'm extremely satisfied! The cars are always impeccably kept, usually luxury-class limousines like the Mercedes S-Class or the BMW 7 Series.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the drive from Munich to Vienna take?
Around four hours for roughly 440 kilometres via the A8 and the Austrian A1. At rush hour the Linz interchange can cost time, which we factor in. Your fixed price does not change because of it.
Are the vignette and tolls included in the price?
Yes, the Austrian vignette and every toll section sit inside the fixed price, as do waiting time, breaks and luggage. Nothing is added after the journey.
Do you serve Vienna-Schwechat Airport?
Yes, via the A4 south-east of the city, without a detour through the centre. Addresses in Vienna itself we serve just as readily. For departures we need the flight number and then plan with a buffer.
Can you drive back late in the evening?
Yes, around the clock and without a night surcharge. Late returns from Vienna are a frequent job, because the last aircraft usually leaves before the meeting ends. You sleep en route while your chauffeur drives.
What does the transfer to Vienna cost?
The price is fixed before you book and depends on vehicle and addresses. Vignette, tolls, breaks and waiting time are included. Give us the start, the destination, the date and the passenger count for an exact figure.
Do you also drive to Salzburg, Graz or Linz?
Salzburg has its own page, and Linz and Graz we drive on request at a fixed price. All Austrian destinations include vignette and tolls. Simply give us the start, the destination and the date.
Munich to VIE

Munich to Vienna at a fixed price

Munich and Vienna are closely tied together commercially, and it shows in our enquiries. The typical job is the day appointment: departure at six, meeting at ten in the first district, return in the evening. Your chauffeur stays on site all day and waits between the meetings, and you end up paying for the day rather than for four individual journeys.

The second case is the late return. When a meeting in Vienna runs until ten at night, the last aircraft went an hour and a half ago. That leaves the overnight stay or the car. Anyone needed back in Munich the next morning decides on the car, sleeps on the A1 and is home in their own bed by around two.

The third case is cultural. The State Opera, the Musikverein, the Festwochen: anyone driving from Munich for an evening in Vienna does not want to stand at an airport afterwards. Your chauffeur waits outside the building, you get in, and the rest is sleep. For groups of up to six people we simply take the V-Class.

For an enquiry we need the starting address, the destination in Vienna, the date, the time and the passenger count, plus the flight number if you are flying out of VIE. You receive a fixed price including the vignette, the tolls and all waiting time. Up to three people travel in the E-Class or in the S-Class.
