IAA Mobility is the only major Munich fair that runs at two locations at once. The trade exhibition sits on the grounds at Riem, while the Open Space spreads across the city centre: Odeonsplatz, Königsplatz, Wittelsbacherplatz, Ludwigstrasse. Between the two lie forty minutes and half of the city itself.
Anyone managing both in a single day has either luck or a chauffeur. During IAA parts of the city centre are closed off, there is no parking to be had, and taxis barely reach the squares. We know the access routes and drop you as close as it is physically possible to get.

The chauffeur on call is practically compulsory at this fair. You have a morning appointment on the grounds at Riem, a presentation at Odeonsplatz at midday and dinner in Schwabing in the evening. With a car that is one day, whereas on public transport it is an imposition, because the U6 between the fair and the centre is packed throughout IAA week.
For guests and delegations we drive from the airport straight to the grounds or to the hotel. With larger groups we deploy the V-Class or the Sprinter, so that your delegation stays together across the whole day. Because the city centre is partly closed during IAA, we agree the pick-up and drop-off points with you beforehand, so that nobody ends up waiting in the wrong square.

IAA Mobility takes place in Munich every two years and, since the move from Frankfurt, is built quite differently from a classic motor show. The Open Space in the city centre is publicly accessible, while the grounds at Riem are a pure trade exhibition. Anyone here on business generally has to be at both, and that is the real logistical task of the week.
Forty minutes separate Riem from Odeonsplatz, and that is with good traffic. During IAA week the traffic is not good. Our chauffeurs drive the route several times a day and know the alternatives when the Mittlerer Ring comes to a standstill. That regularly decides whether you keep an appointment or move it.
The Open Space brings a second difficulty with it: around Odeonsplatz and Königsplatz streets are closed during the fair, and exactly where stopping is permitted changes from one day to the next. We clarify that in advance and tell you where the car will be standing. You then walk fifty metres instead of spending five minutes searching.
For an enquiry we need the period, the hotel, the passenger count and the locations at which you have appointments. You then receive a fixed price for the entire fair days. Book early, as Munich is booked out during IAA week and the vehicles are allocated a long time in advance.
