BAU is the world's leading fair for architecture and building materials and runs at Messe München every two years in January. Around 200,000 trade visitors across five days, plus deep winter: that means full hotels, taxis long gone and a U6 you would not want to board with sample cases.

The same driver, the same vehicle, and both your hotel and your hall are entirely familiar to him after a single day. For larger stand teams we deploy the Sprinter, so the whole crew travels out and back together rather than splitting across four taxis at eight in the morning in the snow.
For visitors and guests the airport transfer is added on. BAU draws architects and planners from right across Europe, and many of them travel in for just two days. We collect at the terminal, with flight tracking and a name sign, and drive straight to the hotel or out to the grounds. With groups the entire delegation stays together in one vehicle.

BAU takes place every two years in January, and January is the month with the least predictable weather in Munich. Snow, ice and darkness from half past four are part of the deal. Our vehicles run on winter tyres, and the chauffeurs drive the route to the grounds on every single day of the fair. In snowfall that simply means setting off earlier.
The material is the second point. At BAU you show facades, surfaces and systems, and sample panels are heavy. What you need on the stand travels in the Sprinter, not in a taxi. The separate luggage bay swallows what will not go into a boot, and in the morning everything stands at the right hall at the right time.
The grounds are large and BAU occupies them almost entirely. Between the west entrance and the east entrance there are twenty minutes on foot, and if you exhibit in hall C1 you certainly do not want to be dropped at the north entrance. Give us your hall number and our chauffeurs will drive to the matching entrance, morning and evening alike.
For an enquiry we need the period, the hotel, the passenger count, your hall number and whether material is coming with you. You then receive a fixed price for the fair days. Because BAU only runs every two years, vehicles are allocated early, so please enquire in good time.
